This site has pictures and descriptions of many
of the perennials I grow, and a blooming chart of my favorite
plants. Please remember that the plants in your garden will bloom based on
your location, elevation, and amount of sun and/or shade in your yard, but the
charts should help you to determine a blooming order. |
Southern Vermont is considered Zone 5 but because of the elevation here (about 2200 feet)
not all Zone 5 plants will survive our tough winters and short growing season. I
try to purchase plants hardy in Zone 4.
This web site was designed to show you the many different perennials that I
grow in the mountains of southern Vermont. Maybe it will encourage others
to start their own perennial gardens. These pictures are of my main perennial
garden.
